How to fix Boost Mobile HTC Evo Voicemail notifier

If you have flashed your Sprint HTC Evo to Boost Mobile and your native voice mail notifier no longer notifies you when you have a voice mail on your Boost Mobile HTC Evo or you recently did a update on your flashed Boost Mobile HTC Evo and the native voice mail notifier does not notify now. Then you will need to follow the directions below to fix your voice mail notifier.


  • You must be rooted. If you are not rooted please follow this link

  • A Micro SD card inserted in the HTC Evo.

  • A Micro USB data cable.

  • A Windows PC (Has not been confirmed on a Mac).

  • Download this ROM “supersonic_4.22.651.2_deodexed_060511-signed” by clicking here.


  • Connect your HTC Evo to your PC and select “Disc drive”.

  • Drag “supersonic_4.22.651.2_deodexed_060511-signed” to the root of your SD card.

  • On you HTC Evo select charge only after the file is on the root of your SD card.

  • Turn phone completely off and remove the battery.

  • Inset the battery into the HTC Evo. Now hold the volume rocker button down on the left side of the phone, press and hold the power button down until you boot into the Boot loader.

  • Once in the Boot loader select Recovery / advanced / Wipe “dalvik cache”. When “dalvik cache” is finished being wiped select go back and “wipe cache partition”.

  • Now with the cache wiped select install zip from sd card / choose zip from sd card / select “supersonic_4.22.651.2_deodexed_060511-signed” and install.

  • After the phone has installed the zipped file select “Go Back” and reboot system now.
